I used a few in layers to make the colors brighter. Here's the full list:

Blue base: Avon mirror shine "glisen scintillant"

Blue top: Sally Hansen HD 14 "spectrum"

Pink base: Wet n' Wild 444A "rose chrome"

Pink top: Nail Art Diamond Cosmetics "frosty pink"

Glitters on top of the pink: Milani 40 "diamond dazzle"

Top layer for the whole nail: Sally Hansen Diamond Strength (clear)

Cool! Thank you! The pink I have takes a couple layers too...but it's kind of thin too.

That happens a lot with the light colors.

Yeah, it's sort of a bummer though...at least with the pink color I have. It gets this dull tone when I put a couple layers. It's not too bad though if I put a red base under. I should get a better pink though.

Some small translucent glitters or a transparent red gloss might help too.

I haven't tried acrylic yet, mostly because I worry about getting it off and if it might make my nails go soft.
