I wish I understood Japanese so that I could watch the shows I want without reading subs, as I hate reading in general and how you can't do anything else while you do it. I want to listen to a show, occasionally looking up at the interesting parts while I draw and do other stuff. I can't do that if I need to keep my eyes on the screen at all times. That said, I don't really get these Japanese apps. They teach kanji, kana, etc., but I don't care about representing a sound in writing, I just want to know what that sound means when I hear it. Maybe one day I'll sit down and ready a Japanese dictionary (with full English fonts) to see how many words I can remember afterwards.

Moving on to other random blogging topics, I have been watching Miraculous Ladybug. The intro shows more spirits and miracle stones than just the 3 we've seen so far and since this is supposed to be a 26 episode season and I've seen 11 so far, I keep wondering when they're going to show up. I'm hoping for a second season, but not counting on it. I just hope that when the others show up, they get some development instead of just being thrown in.

I had also been watching Prince of Tennis, I stopped at episode 50 where the dub ends, but there's a Tezuka episode coming up, so I might endure dubs just for the sake of Tezuka. Kiku and Syu are my other favs. I heard that Dragon Ball Super is getting dubbed, which is awesome because I could only endure the subs so much. I left off in the episode where Beerus gets angry on the cruise ship, so I wasn't even past the movie remake episode. Looking forward to the new episode in English! Other shows I'm planning to watch are the second season of DRRR!! and the rest of Star Driver.

In terms of videogames, I most recently finished Dust: An Elysian Tail and loved the gameplay style, which was similar to Muramasa. I also finished Code Realize, Impey is awesome, but the game requires too much reading, since all the voices are in Japanese. I wish it had English voices so I could set it to auto and just listen to it like an audio story. I liked that Amnesia had lots of choices, but Code Realize, and by the looks of it Norn 9, are too wordy.

That's the one of the games I'm playing next, Norn 9 on the Vita. I also want to reply the first Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on Vita before playing the second, which I got on Steam. I'm also playing Tales of Zesteria, though I haven't made much progress yet. Mikleo is my favorite character so far. One surprising game that has kept me entertained has been Sonic Dash for iOS, it's nothing grand, as iOS games rarely are, but it's oddly amusing despite it's simplicity. I also got other official (made by Sega) iOS Sonic games to try later.
